If the reports are to be believed, BCCI is considering conducting the remaining IPL 2021 in UAE from September 15 to October 15. The Times of India has quoted this information.
It is being said that after the 5-match Test series between India and England, the 14th season of the IPL can be ended by playing the remaining 31 matches between September 15 and October 15.
TOI has quoted sources saying that the BCCI official said, “If the 9-day gap between the second and third Test against England is reduced to 4 days, then BCCI can use those extra five days”. However, the Indian board has not officially spoken to the ECB on this yet.
World Test Championship final against New Zealand will be played on June 18 in Southampton, while the series against England will start in Nottingham from August 4. The second Test will be played at Lodgers on 12 to August 16, the third at Leeds on 25 to August 29, the fourth at the Oval on 2 to September 6 and the fifth at Manchester from 10 to September 14.
