The IPL Governing Council on Sunday announced the full schedule of the Indian Premier League 2021.

This tournament will be played in India only this time. IPL is returning to India after almost two years. This time the matches of this tournament will be held in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata.

The IPL Governing Council on 16th March announced Upstox, one of India’s leading and fastest-growing digital brokerage firms, as an official partner for IPL, which will begin on April 9th, 2021. This will be a multi-year partnership.

IPL 2021 Schedule
IPL 2021 Match list –
The first match of the season will be held in Chennai from 9 April 2021. There will be a competition between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The IPL playoffs and finals will be played here on 30 May 2021 at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, the world’s largest cricket stadium. The Pink Ball Test match was played between India and England in the same stadium. Now for the first time, an IPL match will be played here.
Each team will play on four grounds on the league stage. Out of 56 league matches, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bengaluru will have 10 matches each, while 8 matches will be played in Ahmedabad.
The specialty of this year’s IPL is that all matches will be played on a neutral venue. No team will play any match at their home ground. Each team will play their league stage matches on four of the six grounds.

The Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in an emergency meeting has unanimously decided to postpone IPL 2021 season, with immediate effect.
The BCCI does not want to compromise on the safety of the players, support staff and the other participants involved in organizing the IPL. This decision was taken keeping the safety, health and wellbeing of all the stakeholders in mind.
