IPL 2021 To Be Held In UAE: Says BCCI

The good news for cricket fans, the suspense is over. They don’t need to wait anymore to see their favorite players perform. BCCI officially announced the remainder of IPL 2021 has been moved to UAE.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India decided to organize the remaining IPL 2021 matches in the month of September-October. The SGM (Special General Meeting) was virtually held on Saturday and decided to organize the remaining IPL matches. IPL 2021 was postponed on may 4th due to several team staff members and players were found covid positive.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided in an SGM and announced that the remaining VIVO IPL 2021 matches will be held in UAE in the month of September-October.

Obviously, the IPL schedule would be the issue. BCCI is expecting 10 double-headers and 8 single header matches excluding play-off games (2 qualifiers, 2 eliminators) including the final.

The World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand will be played on June 18th, 2021 in Southampton, and then India vs England series will start from August 4th in Nottingham. It has 5 test matches. The 2nd test will start from 12 to August 16 at Lodgers, the 3rd test will start from 25 to August 29, the 4th test is at Oval from 2nd to September 6th and the last test will start from 10th to September 14th.
